This spring the two master students Thea Hougsrud Andreassen and Andreas Bakken Smedås worked with a transformation project of some old storage shelters from World War II at Østmarkneset by the coast of Trondheim. Together with Annika Andersen, Robin Loe and Carla Carvalho they designed and planned the workshop between August 2014 and June 2015. The last two weeks almost 30 architecture students have joined a workshop to develop and build some of the ideas of Thea and Andreas. One of the shelters are now being transformed to a season based restaurant. The project will finish this weekend. To see and read more, follow the project at Facebook. Photos: Lael Aprieto.
